jake fairley and his flatmate ian worang are the uncut. and together they go for gold: typical jake fairley sound meets joy division and stooges attitude.
all we need is a drum machine, a guitar, a bass and microphone. these honest and dirty tracks rock way ahead of most overproduced club rockers…this one is real and coming from sweaty basement rehersal rooms rather than the music industry. this is rock´n´roll!

good news everyone! our favourite rockers from oh. have left the major label virgin to finally jump on the festplatten boat. with good reason … they´re bringing with them one of the fattest and most elaborated festplatten records to date. musically the electronic band oh. have developed towards a consequently new direction: straighter than ever, 4 to the floor, paired with the organic band sound and a whole lotta funk…welcome to the club! a big welcome comes from mathias schaffhaeuser, with his collossal stumpin´ n chirpin´ remix. a track all ravers have long been waiting for. the five lads around raumagent alpha and phil stumpf feel a lot more comfortable around the dancefloor anyway - after a long way from seven years on rock´n´roll stages!

frankfurt resident markus müller made his first time appearance on our wir.zwei compilation (back then with the pseudonym markus jackson).
for his debut maxi quattro stagione he now prefers to appear under his real name. there are 4 pieces which bring together the festplatten typical preferences in a charming way; in other words, the funk-metal of minimalhouse.
the 4 tiles accompany us through the night: at 8pm we snuggle into the night, at 3am we get down to business, at 7am we want to proof it one more time and at 12 noon we happily groove into the new day. the two night owls provide an almost modernist-style-like ground for excessiveness and all the way turned up saws. the two paradise birds distinguish themselves by his playful grooves and lovely melodies.

leo cubanero - bug fix ep

the debüt from our berlin newcomer leo cubanero. he´s takes functionallity and totally weirdness togehter in one stride. we had to dither between his daily growing flood of new tracks. in the end we took three… so here he comes with one big rave-monster and two lovely and groovy minimal-house tracks.

hannes sends out two uncompromised tracks via land- and stadtluft to hit the groove: landluft is a heavy marching monstrosity with jeleous-making brokensounds. these enbed themselves in a rhythm that has found its own way: to shuffle or not seems to be the question here.
hannes has more or less inhaled the stadtluft after a loveparade party night in berlin¹s panoramabar: this totally rattled raver pummles into someplace with a freshly-had promo-shaker and a wind buoy-like bass that could stand for any autumn storm. and because hannes is a nice guy everything still sounds lovely and charming.
andi teichmann

the beat rolls straight and the hooks keep on ravin´ till the doctor comes! two tracks that try to overarch one another with their crazy functionality. by crazy we mean for sure well thought out.
alles auf rot squirrels happily over diverse tacts. it moves with crisp sounds and a fat bass´straight ahead on a sawing rave horn for which no system is too large.
on 1, 2, 303 andi touches our ears easily and fluffy with his very personal transpose-madness. this one, camouflaged as an off-bassline, offers a good foundation for cramming, trumpeting and the final pop-acid explosion.

after his wonderful debut luna rocker (fest 007), the agent brings us a wrathful ravemonster… based on the plugger 1, from our wir:zwei compilation, he srewed us three beatyful songs. one live-take and a studio-version from the plugger 2 and the plugger 4 - an unbelievable groover which hates the winter and looks forward to spring. the agent stays undercover, but we are very excited for his album, which is expectet in march.

after some great releases on shitkatapult, here is the first festplatte of sami koivikko from finnland. 4 tracks, which bring funkiness and harmonies together in a fantastic way. sami loves to make music to dance in the club, as well as listening at home. his personal favorit on this record is bukke, because of the typical finnish melancholy - we love the hole record!
satamakatu, the ep-titel is the name of the street, where sami lived and produced all the tracks.

after a short break, here is the new festplatten. the solodebut of andi teichmann contains much more of andis musical background than just minimal-housmusic: you can find funk and rock, guitars and prophets, vocals, even a slow and deep ambient song is on it and last but not least a smile on your face.
we won´t go home!
